Edgecomb resident and author of two children’s books, Tammy L.R. Meserve, will be reading bedtime stories at the Edgecomb Eddy School’s annual Spring Book Fair on Thursday, March 14.  

The event, sponsored by the school’s parent/teacher club, is a fundraiser for the school and area families are welcome. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and those who do will be entered in a drawing for one of Meserve’s books.  

Merserve has written two children’s books, “There’s a Moose Loose in the Hoose!” a local favorite published in 2009, which she followed in December with the publication of “There’s a Moose Loose at the Fair!” She will be reading from 6-6:30 p.m., but the Book Fair is open from 5:30-7 p.m., at the school. Both of the books will be for sale along with a selection of children’s books.
