“The Lion King” - Held over by popular demand! - From Disney Live Action, director Jon Favreau's all-new "The Lion King" journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother-and former heir to the throne-has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

“It serves up the same story with different actors, different arrangements of beloved songs and soundtrack cues, a couple of original tunes, a few fresh scenes and sequences, and, of course, photorealistic animals. ”The Audience” - National Theatre Live Encore - Don’t miss Academy Award winner Dame Helen Mirren (The Queen), as she plays Queen Elizabeth II in the Tony Award winning production of The Audience. Written by Peter Morgan, directed by Stephen Daldry, and captured live from London’s West End in 2013, For 60 years, Queen Elizabeth II has met with each of her 12 prime ministers in a private weekly meeting. This meeting is known as The Audience. No one knows what they discuss, not even their spouses. From the old warrior Winston Churchill, to Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher and finally David Cameron, the Queen advises her prime ministers on all matters both public and personal. 2019 Inaugural MidCoast Film Fest -  Lincoln Theater is pleased to announce the launch of Maine’s newest film festival, the MidCoast Film Fest - bringing original movies, long and short, narrative and documentary that are based on true stories or events. Friday July 26 at 7 PM will kick off the MidCoast Film Fest with an opening night reception and screening of two Maine premieres. (Opening night is SOLD OUT.) Saturday July 27 will feature six films – four new to Maine and two new to the US, and Sunday July 28 features two New England premieres and a local interest program featuring five short films. ”Aristocats KIDS!” - Y-Arts Summer Camp presents - Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day. Performed Live on stage by the Y-ARTS Theater Music Camp – students from Grades 1-9. Campers immerse themselves in the art of musical theatre during this two-week day camp, which focuses on all areas of the dramatic arts and culminates on a junior Broadway musical. ”42nd Street – The Musical”  -  … the song and dance, American dream fable of Broadway, featuring the West End’s biggest cast on Theatreland’s oldest stage, Theatre Royal Drury Lane. ”Kinky Boots – The Musical” -  Big-hearted and high-spirited, the West End musical, inspired by true events, tells the true story of Charlie Price, the new owner of his late father’s Northampton shoe factory. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save the family business from bankruptcy, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, an entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos.
