Boothbay Region Garden Club members have once again created edible birdhouses to be sold during the Festival of Trees.
The recipe is lots of peanut butter and a variety of bird seed. Hang outside this winter for the pleasure of the birds. Birdhouses can be refurbished with more peanut butter and seeds.
Festival of Trees is Dec. 6, 7 and 8 at the Opera House, 86 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor. Shops will be selling sweet treats, something new, something old, all things for your mantle or table and also natural gifts.
Free admission and parking.
