Waldoboro man arrested after being sought in Ames True Value theft case
Wiscasset Police Department reported on its Facebook page Dec. 26, Waldoboro police have arrested the Waldoboro man being sought in connection with an alleged Oct. 30 theft of about $140 worth of merchandise from Ames True Value Supply in Wiscasset.
A Wiscasset Police Department post earlier in the day stated the theft charge against Corey J. Main, 44, was a felony due to Main’s criminal history. The first post sought the public’s help. “Multiple attempts have been made to contact Main regarding this incident,” it stated.
Waldoboro Police Chief John Lash confirmed in a phone interview, Officer Nate Jack arrested Main on a warrant for the Wiscasset theft charge. Main was taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset, Lash said.
