Diet and exercise to reverse dementia
The Community Center is the venue Tuesday, Feb. 4 for a free Empowered Patients Lunch & Learn discussion from noon to 1:15 p.m. The topic: the Dale Bredesen Flex 12/3 dietary program, physical exercise regime, and brain exercises that can be done to reverse cognitive decline.
Diet plays a key role in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease. The Ketoflex 12/3 diet, a form of time-restrictive eating that limits the period during which a person eats to a 12-hour window at least three hours before bedtime, promotes the production of ketones. For more information prior to the discussion, including articles and diagrams, please visit Drbredesen.com or mpicognition.com
Co-sponsored by the Boothbay Region Health Center and the Community Center. The Center is at 185 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor in the Meadow Mall. FMI: Call Patty at 633-4368.
