Race cars, bounce house at fundraiser in Wiscasset April 5
A fundraiser for David Thompson of Jefferson will be held at the Wiscasset Fire Department on Sunday, April 5 from 1 to 4 p.m.
On March 2, Thompson experienced a medical event on his way to work and has since been in the hospital. This fundraiser is to help support his family with their monthly living expenses.
At the “Benefits for Dave” fundraiser, there will be fire trucks and race cars, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, a bounce house, a bake sale, #thompsonstrong T-shirts and stickers, and hot dogs and popcorn, sold by donation. DJ Cory Creamer will be on-site for music.
There will also be a bottle drive, so please bring bottles, or they can be dropped off at Bonus Redemption, 116 Mills Road in Newcastle, at any time.
For more information or to make a donation for Thompson and his family, visit the “Benefits for Dave” Facebook page at shorturl.at/jkzBV. Friends and family will continue to have benefits until goals are reached, so please follow the link to donate and stay posted on events.
