June 9 update: Two COVID-19 recoveries in Waldo County
AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, June 9, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine.
Today, there are 2,606 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases across the state, including 2,322 confirmed cases and 284 probable cases.
Across the state, 1,992 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 100 people have died. The number of people hospitalized, at some point during their illness, across the state stands at 302.
Looking at hospital COVID-19 data, there are currently 29 hospitalized, including 10 in critical care and seven on a ventilator. There are 177 available critical care beds out of 402 total and 255 available ventilators of 316 total and 441 alternative ventilators.
By sex, 1,335 females have tested positive in the state and 1,270 males have tested positive. One individual is listed as unknown.
