Edgecomb planning board tables two requests
The Edgecomb Planning Board had a similar refrain for both applicants June 18. Cross Point Road residents Amy and Craig Robinson sought approval for a home addition and a new garage and Tim Jarrett sought a change of use approval for a Blake Farm Road antique shop. The board ruled both applications were incomplete.
The Robinsons moved to Edgecomb two years ago into a cottage owned by Amy Robinson’s family. Her grandfather bought it in 1972. The Robinsons want to add a 24-foot by 28-foot garage and a 10-foot by 20-foot mudroom. The application did not include a map showing locations of buildings and land elevations, so the board tabled it.
Tim Jarrett is leasing to own an antique shop Linda Giles owns. Jarrett is seeking a change of use as he is looking to continue operating the shop and add his heating and cooling business into the building. Jarrett told the board he wanted to continue operating the antique shop in the building and add a separate entrance for his heating and cooling business. He planned on using a home on the 16-acre parcel as his home and as storage for the antique shop. The board tabled his request because he did not provide a map showing building locations and land elevations.
Both applicants will resubmit their applications during the next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2 in the town hall’s upstairs meeting room.
