James W. “Jamey” Kelley, 62, of Southport passed away at home on Sept. 26, 2020 after a two and a half-year battle with cancer.
Jamey was born in Columbus, Ohio to Eugene and Doris (nee Keith) Kelley on March 24, 1958. He attended local schools in Boothbay Harbor. On Sept. 1, 1979, Jamey was united in marriage to Marie Orchard at the Southport Methodist Church.
For over 35 years, Jamey was co-owner of Boothbay Mechanics until his illness forced him to retire.

Jamey enjoyed listening to local bands and was happiest when he knew those around him were enjoying themselves.
Jamey was predeceased by his mother Doris, daughter Rachel, and mother-in–law Ralva Orchard.
He is survived by his wife Marie, his father Eugene, siblings Donnie Kelley, Becky Levesque, and father-in-law Ronald Orchard. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to list.
Marie would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to family and close friends who helped comfort Jamey with love and compassion during his final hours.
