Windjammer Days has forged a historic partnership with Tall Ships America to bring several vessels to Boothbay Harbor in celebration of Maine’s bicentennial.

The Tall Ships Festival, originally planned as part of Maine’s bicentennial celebration in 2020, will take place June 25-27  to celebrate 200 years of Maine’s statehood.

“After the historic and unexpected year we’ve all experienced, we can’t wait to welcome these stately ships to our harbor,” said Mark Gimbel, Friends of Windjammer Days. “We hope everyone will make plans to join us for this exciting event.”

Tickets are now on sale online, with one ticket providing tours of three incredible ships: The Spirit of Bermuda, Lynx and Santa Maria. Two touring sessions are available each of the three days: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 each, and with a limited number of tickets available for each session, visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase ahead of time. Same-day tickets purchased on site, subject to availability, are $25 per person.
