A special town meeting is being called in Westport Island for Saturday, Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. at Town Hall, 1217 Main Road.

Articles to be considered include review and consideration of a proposed agreement with Spectrum/Charter Communications to provide the work approved at the April 2021 special town meeting to expand the town’s broadband coverage to unserved areas, specifically 205 homes.

Also to be considered is spending of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for town office adaptations to improve the safety of residents and staff.
