This week at Lincoln Theater
A timeless classic is re-imagined this Friday in the new adaptation of “The Tragedy of Macbeth,” written for the screen and directed by four-time Oscar winner Joel Coen. According to David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter, “Furious and fleet, emotional and elemental, Joel Coen's stripped-down take on the Scottish play instantly secures its place among the most audacious modern screen adaptations of Shakespeare.” Starring Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, the spellbinding cinematography of this black and white period piece makes this a film you don’t want to miss on the big screen!
