Dear Editor:

Wiscasset is a very complex town financially and population wise and those we elect must be committed to the taxpayers of the town. As a former Selectman, I understand the complexity of trying to keep taxes down but to also try moving the town forward. Wiscasset has a diverse population, elderly, families and children and our elected officials must put their interest before anything.

Bill Maloney is the man for the job! I have worked with Bill for many years and have learned a lot from him in our Selectmen and Budget Committee meetings. Bill has shown his commitment to the future of our town and knows to ask the right questions. We as a town have financial responsibilities and we need someone who will put our financial needs before our desires.

I urge you to vote for Bill Maloney for Selectman.
