Mary Catherine A. Wilson
Mary Catherine A. Wilson, 41, of Boothbay was called home to God on June 19, 2022 with her family by her side.
Mary Catherine was born Angel Marie on April 2, 1981 in Biddeford and was adopted by Terry and Wilma Tatlock at three weeks old. She brought immense joy to her family and friends. She was incredibly gifted artistically; playing the violin at 4 years old, later learning the piano and clarinet, jewelry making, crocheting, and artwork with pastels. Mary Catherine also loved poetry, music and drama.
She graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 1999 and was one of the school's most decorated field hockey players in the school's history, earning many Mountain Valley Conference honors, and Most Valuable Player awards.
After becoming the first female wrestler at BRHS her senior year, she suffered a rotator cuff injury which prematurely ended her field hockey career. Mary Catherine struggled with the demon of addiction throughout her life and fought valiantly to be the best person she could be.
She excelled as a customer service representative for AT&T, Dell Computers and later worked at Dunkin' and Hannaford Supermarkets.
She is survived by her two children, Michael D. Bilodeau and Madaline N. Bilodeau, both of Augusta; her husband, George M. Wilson III of Boothbay; two stepdaughters, Hailey Wilson and Zephyr Wilson, both of Boothbay; her mother, Wilma Tatlock of Boothbay Harbor; her father, Terry Tatlock of Augusta; her sister, Sarah Tatlock; her birth mother Mary Cleary of Biddeford; her half brother Peter Cleary; and her half sister Jenn Ready. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many extended family members and friends.
Care is entrusted to Hall's Funeral Home in Boothbay. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 23 between 6 and 8 p.m. at Hall's Funeral Home in Boothbay.
