Health Center welcomes new medical provider, elects officers
Please join us in welcoming Brianna Cox, family nurse practitioner, to the Boothbay Region Health Center. Brianna will be treating patients full-time starting this week through early-August. She graduated from the University of Central Florida and received her master’s in nursing from Spring Arbor University. She received her certification as a family nurse practitioner in May, 2021 and has recently completed her residency with Penobscot Community Health Care.
Brianna says, "I look forward to the opportunity to care for folks who find themselves in the Boothbay Harbor area this summer, and exploring all that Boothbay has to offer!” She will be returning to Penobscot Community Health Center in the fall to work in their School Health Center in Bangor. We are delighted that she has agreed to join us to bolster our existing staff of Dr. Damon, Dr. Teel and Family Nurse Practitioner, Susan Lord during the busiest summer months.
The board of the Community Center has elected new officers. Stephanie Hawke is now the board president, Chuck Cunningham is vice president. Maureen Kinsey is secretary, and Patty Seybold is treasurer. The board welcomed Tony Krason as a new board member in January.
