Roaring ’20s Lawn Party to celebrate Lincoln Home’s 95th birthday
This year The Lincoln Home, a non-profit assisted living community, celebrates 95 years of serving seniors and our Lincoln County community. On Saturday evening, Aug. 20, we will host our big 95th Birthday Bash with a Roaring ’20s Lawn Party on the banks of the Damariscotta River. Dance to The Boneheads, enjoy a champagne toast and grazing board that includes a raw bar, and 1920’s inspired cocktails, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Lawn games, a fun photo booth, antique cars and a Silent Auction will add to the festivities. We encourage 1920s’ dress to add to the flavor of the evening, and to honor the year 1927, we were founded. Event will be under a tent, rain or shine. Tickets are $50, and can be purchased online at www.lincoln-home.org/special events or by calling 563-3350.
Friday evening, Sept. 23, we host The Don Campbell Band for an outdoor concert by the river with dancing on our lawn. Delicious offerings from The Salty Boyz and Blazing Tomato food trucks, Sadie the Bar Car, oysters and ice cream will be available for purchase. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Coolers and pets are not allowed.
This year, donations and proceeds from our 2022 Summer Celebrations will help to replace our aging roof. Get your tickets to join us for our fun outdoor events on the River, and help Raise the Roof! We could not do this without the collaboration and support of individuals, families and business members. The Lincoln Home has grown and evolved to meet the wide variety of needs, expectations and changes the last century has brought. Additions and modifications are continually being made to support a lifestyle for Vibrant Seniors. What always remains a constant, is our level of individualized, compassionate caregiving in a home like setting. Residents, family and associates continue to say what sets our extraordinary community apart, is the feeling of family we share, and staff that go above and beyond.
