The Boothbay Region YMCA's annual Silent Auction is an event which raises nearly $10,000 annually to benefit YMCA Youth Programs. This year's event will be held July 26 and 27 at the YMCA.  

The YMCA is now collecting items and donations for the auction. Your trash could be someone’s treasure. No item is too large or too small. Tools, dishware and utensils, artwork, furniture, boats and dinghies, bed frames, porch furniture, rugs, decorations, jewelry, puzzles, books, exercise equipment, it all sells to benefit the youth of our community.

Whatever doesn’t sell at the Y’s Annual Auction goes directly to the annual Rotary Auction the following weekend.

This year’s Silent Auction will feature a wide array of donated items that are open to a special preview evening ($5 admission) on Friday, July 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. During this preview, cash and carry items from a special table may also be purchased.  

Written bidding will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. No Sunday bidding this year. The 3 p.m. close on Saturday allows for winning bidders to pick up their items by 3:30 p.m. The auction takes place in the YMCA Coastal Club Room.

There is no shipping and no delivery. All items must be picked up by winning bid holders ASAP.

Admission to the preview evening is $5 and admission to the Silent Auction is free.
