Flood watch issued for most of Maine

With heavy rains expected to continue through June 28 into Saturday morning, June 29, a flash flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Gray.
Hazardous weather has been forecasted in Oxford, Franklin, Somerset, Cumberland, Androscoggin, Kennebec, Waldo, Sagadahoc, Lincoln and Knox counties. Torrential downpours and damaging winds are expected throughout the weekend and some areas could get up to 2 inches of rainfall.
The flood watch remains in effect through the night of June 28.
