This past Thursday marked the beginning of a grass roots effort to save the life of a cranky crustacean named Stew. Stew landed at Brady’s at the request of a long time customer from Nashville. The guest was given the option of dining on the 4.85lb lobster or the smaller version only weighing in at a mere 3lbs. Well, suffice it to say, Stew was granted a reprieve from the pot that night but was put on the menu for some other lucky guest to dine on. What happened next was nothing short of a miracle for Stew. A “Please Save Me” fund was started and by the end of the day enough money had been raised to get Stew out of his bands and back in the ocean. Lobstermen Troy Plummer and his dad Todd took the approximately 23 year old crustacean to an undisclosed location away from any other lobster gear and released him.
