Friday August 4, 6:30 p.m. on the lawn
Join us for our first ever Family Read & Watch! We’ll be reading the Newberry Award Winning book Holes by Louis Sachar and watching the movie adaptation of the classic kids’ novel.
- Step 1: Register for the event by emailing Jen at youth@bbhlibrary.org or by calling the library at 207-633-3112.
- Step 2: Pick up your free copy of the book starting Friday, June 30 and start reading!
- Step 3: Join us for a discussion of the book over a pizza dinner* on August 4 at 6:30 p.m. Screening of the movie
begins on the library lawn at 7:30 p.m.
Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. We’ll provide the popcorn! *Registration is required for the discussion and pizza dinner.
Popcorn for the event is generously donated by the Harbor Theater.
