Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 722 calls for service for the period of June 27 to July 18. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 5,943 calls for service.
Summonses
Jerry Collins, 62, of Hallowell was issued a summons July 15 for Operating Vehicle without License, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Matthew Day.
Michael A. Thomas Jr., 48, of Calais was issued a summons July 17 for Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Arrests
Patrick A. Gregory, 36, of Jefferson was arrested July 12 for Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, on Shady Lane, Jefferson, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Peter R. Wappler, 64, of Freeport was arrested July 13 for Operating under the Influence, on US Route 1, Damariscotta, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Donald Buchanan, 70, of Magnolia, Texas was arrested July 16 for Operating under the Influence and Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention, on State Route 129, South Bristol, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Accidents
On July 13, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Jade M. Gammon, 26, of Richmond. Ms. Gammon was operating her 2018 Toyota southbound when she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, she went off the roadway to the right and re-entered the roadway. She then crossed the centerline again and went off the roadway to the left, when she then re-entered the roadway and crossed the centerline again. She then went off the roadway to the right and collided with several rocks and a tree. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On July 13, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Ian R. Jones, of Dresden. Mr. Jones was operating his 2011 Ford Fiesta northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the northbound ditch and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On July 13, an accident occurred on Hendricks Hill Road on Southport Island involving Teresa D. Tess, 63, of Southport. Ms. Tess was operating her 2016 BMW 3-Series southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
