The Lincoln Home’s One to One Home Care Helps Seniors Stay Safely at Home

Event Date

One2One Home Care at The Lincoln Home helps individuals, regardless of age or disability, have the option of living independently at home. Offering assistance with daily tasks can help to promote independence and the ability to continue with a normal, daily routine, allowing an individual to remain living at home as long as possible. A private pay agency, One2One Home Care accepts payment from clients who have Long Term Care Insurance policies.

One2One Care assistance covers a wide range of non-medical services also called activities of daily living (ADL’s,) including homemaking, companionship, meal preparation and medication reminders. Other services include personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming. A “Safety and Med Check-in” daily phone call offers a consistent reminder for medication and reassurance for a senior living alone. The need for assistance with these activities is used as a measure to access Long Term Care Insurance benefits. One2One staff can assist clients to access their Long-Term Care Insurance and help with the paperwork process for reimbursement.

The Lincoln Home selectively screens and hires certified caregivers based on strong personal values, professional skills, broad care-giving experience, positive references, and a successful background check. Personally trained by Lincoln Home staff, or formally trained as personal assistants (PSS) or certified nursing assistants (CNA), caregivers are required to maintain CPR certifications. All caregivers are covered by liability and worker’s comp insurance.

One2One Care is currently welcoming new clients. Schedule an in home visit by calling Roxanne at 207-563-3038. A caregiver will prepare a written, customized care plan with the client and family members. To learn more about our home care, visit our website at www.lincoln-home.org.
