Gov. Mills to address International Overdose Awareness Day at Boothbay Common
Healthy Lincoln County and the 716 Candles Project are excited to announce that Governor Janet Mills has graciously accepted our invitation to speak at the upcoming International Overdose Awareness Day event.
The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Aug. 31, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the picturesque Boothbay Common in Boothbay, Lincoln County.
Governor Mills' presence adds significant weight to the event, where she will share insights on the state's comprehensive response to the ongoing opioid epidemic. Her perspective and commitment to addressing this critical issue will undoubtedly resonate with attendees and further inspire positive action.
In addition to Governor Mills' keynote address, the International Overdose Awareness Day event promises a diverse lineup of powerful contributions:
