The art of creatives of all media will be making the shopping scene at Studio 53 in downtown Boothbay Harbor in the annual Holiday Gifts for Giving show opening Saturday, Nov. 18. If that date sounds familiar its because that’s also the day of the annual Early Bird Sale & Pajama Party. 

Artists: Neil Ames – hand-hewn and turned wooden bowls and lamps; Christine Thalia Anderson – Anderson Studio handcrafted artwork in ceramics and paintings; Andre Benoit - Plein air painter, assemblist sculptor using repurposed wood – andrebenoit.art.com.  

Fiber and fabric artists: Jill Butke - Fiber artist/weaver. Uniquely woven cotton and wool wearables; Leslie Muir-Volpe - Fiber artist miniature quilts, punch needle embroidery, unique fabric keepsakes; June Rose - Folk artist/poet and maker of "Over the Top Hats" hand-made, one-of-a-kind; Ursula Smith – Weaver of hand-woven textiles for the home. Pottery: Ann Hedgcock – Artist/potter of high-fired stoneware and porcelain - functional, whimsical and sculptural; 

Jewelry: Jane Good/Cute as a Button. Vintage button jewelry; special orders available with your heirloom buttons.

Gifts from nature: Anna Christina/Mana Medicinals - Teas, tonics, tinctures and topical remedies locally grown and organic; Donna & Denny Denniston/Barters Island Bees - Eco-friendly, natural honey bee farm. Holiday décor: Becky Bean Smith - Christmas décor -live and ever-lasting wreaths, trees, and holiday pieces; Linda Brewer, Whimsical ornaments, original designs for the home and tree; Mary Hanley – hand painted Popham sand dollars and adorable soft sculpture creations for your tree. Betsy Wing - author and visual artist specializing in fiction and monotype prints.

A special treat in store this season: Barter’s Island Bees will hold honey tastings each day of Holiday Gifts for Giving from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
