“Killers of the Flower Moon” -  (R; 3 hours, 26 minutes) - At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. “Klimt & the Kiss” - (1 hour, 30 minutes) - Exhibition On Screen - “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt is one of the most recognized and reproduced paintings in the world. Painted in Vienna around 1908, the evocative image of an unknown embracing couple has captivated viewers with its mystery, sensuality and dazzling materials ever since it was created. What lies behind the appeal of the painting – and who was the artist? A close study of the painting takes us to the remarkable turn of the century Vienna when a new world was battling with the old. “Dumb Money” - (R; 1 hour, 45 minutes) - The ultimate David vs. Goliath tale, based on the insane true story of everyday people who flipped the script on Wall Street and got rich by turning GameStop (yes, the mall videogame store) into the world’s hottest company. In the middle of everything is regular guy Keith Gill (Paul Dano), who starts it all by sinking his life savings into the stock and posting about it. When his social posts start blowing up, so does his life and the lives of everyone following him. As a stock tip becomes a movement, everyone gets rich — until the billionaires fight back, and both sides find their worlds turned upside down. “X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X” - (3 hrs, 42 minutes - with 2 intermissions) - Met Live in HD: New production and Met premiere. Anthony Davis’s groundbreaking and influential opera arrives at the Met. Theater luminary and Tony-nominated director of “Slave Play,” Robert O’Hara oversees a potent new staging that imagines Malcolm as an everyman whose story transcends time and space. An exceptional cast of breakout artists and young Met stars enliven the operatic retelling of the civil rights leader’s life. Baritone Will Liverman is Malcolm, soprano Leah Hawkins is his mother, Louise; mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis is his sister Ella; bass-baritone Michael Sumuel as his brother Reginald; and tenor Victor Ryan Robertson as Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad. “Slow Food” - Lincoln County Community Theater presents  “Slow Food” is Sartre meeting Seinfeld in a Greek restaurant. Irene and Peter, two vacationing empty-nesters, arrive at a Palm Springs restaurant famished after traveling from the East Coast, and having endured the typical travel frustrations. Things don’t improve when their well-meaning waiter wants so much to shepherd them through the perfect dining experience that nothing, not even a breadbasket, can reach the table. How could anyone be expected to put up with this impossibly unbearable situation? And yet, for these two empty-nesters, perhaps the slow service is more of a gift than either of them realize… sometimes waiting can open a heart. Stars Carole Florman, Tom Handel, and Gregory J.
