First Congregational Church of Wiscasset invites all to the traditional candlelight service at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Rev. Myers’ sermon will be based on the short story, “I Remember Bethlehem” by Earl Ken Brown (a story told to Luke, the Gospel writer, by Jesse, the Innkeeper).

“Glad Noel” by Mark Wilson will be sung by the choir and Laura Whitney Brewer’s solo, “Silent Night,” will conclude the service.  

The church is on the Common at 28 High St. and welcomes the public to all its services.
