Paul E. Luke, Inc. hosts Business After Hours
The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce has announced that Paul E. Luke, Inc. will be hosting the Chamber’s Business After Hours on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Paul E. Luke, Inc. is located at 15 Lukes Gulch in East Boothbay, at the bottom of Thrill Hill on the Linekin Bay Side. There is no sign at the top of the driveway, but there is a large new storage facility which will let you know you're in the right place.
Paul E. Luke, Inc. has been around for more than 75 years. In that time, they have built over 100 custom sailboats, many of which are still on the water. They also manufacture automatic feathering propellers, three piece storm anchors, ventilators and other marine hardware. Paul E. Luke, Inc. has just completed a new 5,000 square foot storage facility which was built by RUBB, Inc. out of Sanford, Maine. RUBB, Inc. has constructed buildings for Bath Iron Works and the public works department of the city of Bath, and this new building greatly increases the inside storage capabilities as the boatyard looks to grow its storage and repair business. As Paul E. Luke, Inc. enters its third generation, they are excited to show how they are helping people enjoy the coast of Maine.
During the Business After Hours, guests will be able to see the boatyard facilities and learn about the services offered. Linekin Bay Resort will provide light snacks of fruit, cheese, crudites and antipasto, and the East Boothbay Cupcake Company will provide cupcakes as a sweet treat. Guests are encouraged to bring their business cards to be entered into a drawing for several door prizes, including baseball hats and ties and possibly other prizes as well.
The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce is opening up the Business After Hours to members and non-members to encourage everyone from the business community to participate. The event is complimentary to Chamber members and $10 per person for non-members. To register to attend, visit our website: www.boothbayharbor.com.
Since being founded 51 years ago in 1962, the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce has grown into a first-rate, multi-service membership organization that currently serves over 370 members.
