The Boothbay Register’s artist-in-residence, Suzi Thayer, is getting off the page and onto the walls this week.

Thayer, who is perhaps best known locally for her commercial art, interesting local features and cutting wit, is also an exquisite painter.

Last Saturday, Nov. 16, she hung a small collection of watercolor paintings at the Red Cup Coffeehouse and was delighted to find out the local establishment known for its great coffee and food also serves wine.
