What have we come to?
Dear Editor:
It has been exhilarating to work on this presidential election campaign for a candidate who respects the law and the Constitution, who believes in freedom, fairness and the dignity of all Americans. She’s never been accused of corruption, nor has she been convicted on 34 felony counts or charged for sexual harassment. She certainly doesn’t schmooze with dictators or wish to dismantle our government to become a dictator. She understands what democracy means and how it works. She will bring Americans together again, with equality, opportunity and justice for us all.
Her opponent’s destructive lies and deliberate dis-information have created a parallel universe, unhinged from how and where we actually live. He doesn’t care about working people…he doesn’t even pay those who work for him! Having bankrupted his businesses several times, he uses political contributions to pay his debts and his mounting legal fees. His only concern is getting elected so he can pardon himself and avoid prison. Hundreds of his former colleagues have confirmed his instability, diminishing cognitive faculties, and total unfitness for any elected office.
We are all exhausted by the chaos and craziness he creates. Please vote for hope, truth, decency and fairness. Please vote to save our democracy, not destroy it.
