Beat the winter blues with the Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF)! This season, BRAF is offering a variety of exciting exhibits and workshops to keep you engaged and creative.
"Wintering" exhibit: Immerse yourself in the beauty of winter with the new exhibit "Wintering." Showcasing the work of local and regional artists, this exhibit explores the wonder, challenges, and shimmering beauty of the winter season. The exhibit opens Friday, Jan. 17 and runs until March 9. An opening reception with refreshments will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
"Take Part in Art" Series: Jumpstart your creativity in 2025 with BRAF's "Take Part in Art" programs, which offers a variety of opportunities to get your creative juices flowing:
● Open Studio: Join fellow artists every Sunday this winter from noon to 3 p.m. for open studio sessions. All artists and mediums are welcome; bring your own art supplies.
● Artists Share: The first "Artists Share" of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Led by Maine artist Sarah Wilde, this session provides a collaborative space for artists to receive constructive feedback on their work. More dates to be announced.
