Robert Jon & The Wreck at The Waldo
Robert Jon and The Wreck will be performing for the first time at The Waldo on Aug. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in anticipation of their ninth studio album, "Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes," due out Aug. 22 via Journeyman Records.
Produced by the legendary Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, John Prine, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell), the new album finds the band firing on all cylinders—raw, reflective, and tighter than ever. Reigning from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the classic southern rock sound and infuse it with a distinctly modern edge. Since their inception in 2011, the band—Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and Jake Abernathie (keyboards)—has captivated audiences worldwide with their powerful guitar work, rich vocal harmonies, and genre-blurring songwriting.
The group continues to redefine California southern rock, blending the genre’s rich history with a fresh, innovative spirit. Whether it’s through their studio recordings or their explosive live shows, the band’s mission remains the same: to connect deeply with their audience and carry the indomitable spirit of rock ’n’ roll forward into the future.
Schneekluth is particularly excited to come to The Waldo. “I cannot wait to come to Waldoboro this August, and perform at the one and only Waldo Theatre! I grew up spending my summers in Waldoboro with my family. This beautiful place will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am elated to finally give some love back to my second home on the East coast!,” he said. “It’s going to be a show to remember and if you’re anywhere nearby you won’t want to miss this one!”
General Admission tickets are $35 in advance, $40 day of the show. Doors open at 6:30, and concessions will be available for purchase.
