Keith Pfeifer of Andover, N.H. and Nancy Harriman of Southport are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kiersten Dawn Harriman Pfeifer, to Rory Benjamin Diffin, son of Marnie Diffin of North Yarmouth.

Kier graduated from Wheaton College and later earned a master’s degree in public health from University of New England. She is employed by Health Data Specialists and is working on completing a marathon on all seven continents in her free time.

Rory graduated from Utica College and is currently working on his master’s of public policy at the University of Southern Maine. He graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy with the highest ever academic score and is currently employed by the town of Cape Elizabeth Police Department.

They plan to be married on August 16, 2014 in Cape Newagen at Kier's family home where she spent many happy summers with her grandmother, Priscilla Harriman.
