Skidompha features Cozy Quilt artistry

Throughout the month of February, the quilt artistry of Janet B. Elwin of Walpole, will be showcased in the atrium of Skidompha Library.
Elwin has been a quilt instructor and lecturer since 1972 and her career has taken her around the United States and the world. Her specialty is working with hexagon and triangle shapes and creating wall hanging and quilts from men's neckties and shirting fabrics.
Elwin has published four quilting books and self-published several teaching pamphlets, along with a series of patchwork skirt patterns.
Be sure to to come in out of the cold sometime during February to appreciate Janet’s wonderful creations, while sitting in one of the library’s new ultra-comfy chairs (courtesy of Dow Furniture) with your latest book selections.
