Savory Maine's May music series lineup
Savory Maine in Damariscotta May music series will feature local musicians. Every Thursday and Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m., musicians from around the Midcoast will entertain and delight diners at Savory Maine.
Kicking off the month, The Fernaldos debut on May 1; Sylvia Tavares and Jamie Peghiny take the stage May 3 with Tavares playing classic folk music and original compositions and Peghiny singing and playing guitar, base and ukulele and whistles.
On May 8, Nat Hussey of Matinicus will make his debut; the duo Hurry Down Sunshine returns on May 10 with their blend of Americana; On May 15,it's Kathi Nordone's combination of folk, country, inspirational and gospel; Rusty Hinges rocks on May 17; Aaron Nadeau on May 22; and Gary McCue and Lora Stanchfield on May 24.
On May 29, Dave Martin plays an eclectic mix of ragtime, contemporary and classical pieces on solo acoustic guitar returns May 29 and singer/songwriter Bruce Hardina closes out the month on May 31 with eclectic folk, pop, originals and covers.
Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street in Damariscotta and is open Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving lunch and dinner, and brunch and dinner on Sundays. The restaurant sources most of its food from Maine and essentially all of it is organically grown or wild harvested.
