Wiscasset Middle School students get prestigious awards

Maeve Blodgett and Clara Mugnai, eighth grade students at Wiscasset Middle School, were recently honored at the Middle Level Scholar Leaders banquet held on May 15 at the Augusta Civic Center. The students were presented with an award at the banquet.
The criteria for this award included demonstrating academic initiative and scholarship, providing service to classmates and school, exemplifying positive attitudes and demonstrating leadership in the classroom and school activities.
The New England League of Middle Schools and the Maine Association for Middle Level Education sponsored the event.
Also attending the banquet were Betsy and Chris Cossette, Todd Blodgett, George and Kristen Mugnai, Linda Cailler and Principal Linda Bleile.
