An eclectic collection of works by 115 local artists is now on exhibit at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s Gallery at 1 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor.

This first show of the summer season presents a variety of expressions, from abstract to whimsical, and just about everything in between. Artwork mediums include acrylics, pastels, oils, watercolors, mixed media, photography, and sculpture. The exhibit runs through June 16.

In addition, several bins of unframed originals and reproductions are available.

The downstairs gallery has been hung using the “salon” concept, especially suite for displaying the varied sizes, styles and subjects found among our multi-faceted members. The upstairs area, comprised of two rooms and a hallway, was installed using more of a museum approach, providing a most pleasing contrast for viewers.

The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
