Hodgdon Yacht Services – Southport (formerly Boothbay Region Boatyard) will hold an open house on Sunday, June 29 to welcome current, former and new boatyard customers of the region and to celebrate the new business name.

Boothbay Region Boatyard merged with the legacy business of the Boothbay region, Hodgdon Shipbuilding earlier this month.

The open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.

General Manager Matt Elder extended the invitation, saying “We will have a barbecue, live music, tours of the yard and introductions to the great staff we have here at HYS-Southport. We look forward to showing off our facility, our staff and how we plan to improve the quality of the services we provide. We look forward to welcoming the communities of the region.”
