Savory Maine's musical lineup for August
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., musicians from around the Midcoast entertain and delight diners at Savory Maine restaurant in Damariscotta.
On August 5 Kathi Nordone returns to play Americana, folk, country, inspirational and gospel tunes followed by Sylvia Tavares on August 7 and her original compositions and classic folk.
On August 12, it's Stan Davis, playing and singing a mix of traditional and original songs from the blues to lyrical hymns about modern country life. On August 15, Nat Hussey, of Matinicus Island will bring his brand of island rock ‘n’ roll.
Jan Marie Bacon, sings songs of the 60s and 70s on August 19 with a bit of folk, pop, Broadway and comedy to boot. Savory Maine favorites Nancy Sferra and Giff Jamison are set for August 21.
On August 26 Gary McCue and Lora Stanchfield will return and the exuberant group The Rusty Hinges will close out the month on August 28.
Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street, Damariscotta. Savory Maine is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving lunch and dinner and on Sunday, brunch and dinner. The restaurant sources most of its food from Maine and essentially all of it is organically grown or wild harvested.
