An evening sale of fine art at The Lincoln Home
If you love Maine and its mystique, you will want to come to the special art sale, “Mainescapes,” at the Lincoln Home on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m.
View the work of Midcoast artists who have taken beautiful local scenes and made them into extraordinary works of art. Imagine purchasing one for under $300.
Every painting in the event was created by an accomplished local Maine artist. Look for works by: DiTa Ondek, Carole Papa, Nancy Stadtlander, Renee Lammers, Deb Arter, Carol Fisher, Marcia Brandwein, Hannah Ineson, Virginia Forrest, Dan Burr, Barbara Youtz, Dick Miller, Tom Whittle, Kim Traina, Katherine Gray, Louis Abbott, Betsy Palmer, Roberta Goschke, Bill Tomsa, Sarah Greenier, Tom Greenier, Kay Miller, Jan Kilburn and Martha Silver.
This elegant event includes live music, wine and fine hors d’oeuvres. Admission is free.
The Lincoln Home is delighted to partner with area artists for this gala evening. Thirty percent of the proceeds will benefit the Resident Assistance Fund of The Lincoln Home to help those in need. The Lincoln Home is a nonprofit that offers a continuum of care services and living options to those aged 65 and over.
The Lincoln Home is located at 22 River Road in Newcastle, the big yellow building on the banks of the Damariscotta River.
