Author Paul Betit speaks at Wiscasset library
Former Portland Press Herald sportswriter Paul Betit will present an author’s talk at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Wiscasset Public Library, 21 High St., Wiscasset.
Betit, who lives in Brunswick, is the author of a mystery-suspense novel series featuring U.S. Army CID investigator John Murphy, including “Phu Bai,” “Kagnew Station” and the recently-published “The Man In The Canal.”
Betit will share back-stories and discuss his writing regimen and the creative process.
Signed copies of all three of Betit’s books will be available at discounted prices.
For nearly 30 years, Betit covered high school and college sports in the Midcoast area for the Press Herald and the Maine Sunday Telegram.
