Hall’s presents two Partners in Caring programs
Hall Funeral Home and Tribute Centers, through its “Partners in Care” programming, invites you to a special program, led by Mary Francis, a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and Certified Law of Attraction Facilitator.
Mary’s presentation on Friday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to noon will be for professional caregivers. The general public program for widows and their families will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Hall’s of Waldoboro, 949 Main Street in Waldoboro.
Mary’s program on Oct. 10 will provide the professional caregivers creative ideas to incorporate into their professional care giving experience and inspiration to help with the needs of the sick, elderly, handicapped or those at the end of life. Her program on Oct. 11 is meant to help widows and family members of widows understand the emotional situations that new widow are forced to face. To be listened to, humored and encouraged by friends is not to be taken lightly. Mary will provide the encouragement all widows and their family members need.
After losing her husband of 27 years, Mary Francis found herself in a strange place in her life as a widow. Now, she was single, but didn’t feel like a single person. So she decided to seek out other widows to help her understand her place. From their inspiring stories, she compiled “The Sisterhood of Widows: Sixteen True Stories of Grief, Anger and Healing,” a collection of stories of widows from all walks of life.
