Share what you know at Adult Ed
Do you have a skill, hobby or talent? Are you a local history buff? Boothbay Region Adult Ed is looking for people who would like to teach a class or workshop during the winter-spring 2015 semester. Share your knowledge or expertise with other adults in an informal, classroom setting — no teaching experience needed.
Adult Ed offers a variety of classes for the community such as arts, crafts, music, language, cooking, gardening, computer, local history and practical skills. Courses can be one, two evenings, or several evenings depending on the topic. Classes run Monday through Thursday evenings beginning in February and ending in early May.
Is there a local or regional history topic you could talk about? What about a hobby or craft you enjoy doing? Do you have an idea for a new class? We are particularly interested in the following: healthy living, gardening, cooking and practical how-to skills.
We are currently scheduling classes for the winter/spring brochure. Give us a call at 207-633-3224 or email boothbayae@gwi.net with your ideas
