Everyone at the Wiscasset Public Library’s story hour enjoyed a visit from local author Wendy Ulmer and her moose puppet “Joe.”
Wendy read her ABC book "A Isn’t for Fox" and her newest release "My Twelve Maine Christmas Days."
The children all followed along with interactive hand motions that fit perfectly with the Christmas story.
After we said goodbye to Wendy and Joe, we got busy sewing Christmas stockings made from foam sheets and yarn.
When stockings were complete, everyone received a candy cane to put inside to bring home and enjoy.
Get ready for some caroling next week as we welcome Mat O’Donnell back for some guitar playing and holiday fun.
Story hour is at the Wiscasset Public Library children’s room every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The library is located at 21 High Street in Wiscasset. For more information, call 207-882-7161. All good listeners are welcome to enjoy a few stories and an activity to follow.
