Clean Election proposals at Democrats meeting
Meeting March 16 at Newcastle Fire Station
Anna Kellar, Southern Maine field organizer for Maine Citizens for Clean Elections, will be the featured speaker at the Monday, March 16 meeting of the Lincoln County Democrats. The event will take place in the community room at the Newcastle Fire Station at 86 River Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., program begins at 7.
Kellar will describe a new Clean Elections Initiative that will be on the November 2015 ballot. It would restore and fully fund Maine’s Clean Elections law, and require outside groups to list their top funders on political ads.
