The Maine Art Gallery is a bright and airy exhibition location, offering 4-foot by 8-foot panels for a limited number of artists, and equivalent pedestal sculpture space as well.

Submissions will be considered until May 10. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Interested artists should submit three images of their work via email attachment (.jpeg format, maximum size 1500 pixels on the longest side) to magwiscasset@gmail.com. Artists will be notified via email if their work is accepted.

Panel fees are $150 for May 23 through July 5(includes two extra weeks this year). Payment is by check upon acceptance.

Artists may lower their panel fee by scheduling days to attend the gallery, giving them the additional opportunity to meet visitors and speak about their work.

Artists are responsible for their own installations. Artists may hang as many works as they wish on your panels leaving a six inch minimum border at all edges.

Artists are required to attend receptions, as their work will be publicized by the gallery. Memorial Day weekend is the start of the 2015 season at Maine Art Gallery and several events are already planned.

There is no gallery commission for sales.
