In the current production, Blanche will be portrayed by April Joy Purinton and Marc Rodriguez, also an STB veteran, will portray Stanley. The supporting cast members are Jessica Arsenault as Stella, joined by Amanda Bobbe, Michael Hudson, Clay Hawks, Wayne Otto, Leonard Rainey, Belita Velizco, Carolyn Ezzy, Griffin Tibbitts and Tamara Lilly to round out the cast.
Director Thom Watson also offers high praise for this classic.
“Streetcar is one of the best plays ever written, and a challenge for its cast, director, set designer and technical crew,” Watson said. “I am proud to be a part of this production, and grateful to Studio Theatre for honoring me with the chance to bring this 35th anniversary show to the stage.”
