Coastal Studies for Girls holds open house
Coastal Studies for Girls will hold an open house Sunday, July 26, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Coastal Studies for Girls campus located at 308 Wolfe’s Neck Road in Freeport. Tours of the school, led by the admissions team, will run every 20 minutes. In addition, students from previous semesters will be available to answer visitors’ questions and speak to their experiences during and following their time at CSG. The event is open to educators, families, neighbors and friends who are interested in learning more about the school.
Coastal Studies for Girls is one of a handful of semester schools located across the country that provides rigorous academics with an experiential focus and is the only semester school dedicated to marine science and leadership education for girls. The school is located on a 600 acre oceanfront land preserve in Freeport.
Coastal Studies for Girls is now accepting applications from rising 10th grade girls for the fall or spring semester of the 2015-2016 school year.
