A reminder that the Boothbay Railway Village will host Thomas, the True Blue EngineTM this morning, August 6 from 9:30 to 10:30 to say hello, and good-bye, to his Maine fans before traveling on to Edaville USA amusement park, located in South Carver, Massachusetts.
Edaville has been given the rights from HIT Entertainment (the parent company of Thomas the Tank Engine) to open the very first Thomasland theme park in North America. The new theme park is scheduled to open on Saturday, August 15.
While in Boothbay, Thomas will be aboard a flatbed trailer behind a tractor trailer. The trailer will be located in the Museum’s parking lot so there is no admission required to come and wish him well.
