Barry and Tavia Dutton will perform a gospel concert at at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene.

The Duttons are no strangers to the state of Maine; and in particular, this region. Before their tenure of pastoral ministry in the city of Bath for many years, the Duttons spent 34 years in evangelism which took them across America, Canada, and approximately 26 countries world wide. Dr. Dutton is an exciting preacher and author of a bestseller, "Two Against The Tide." Another work, due to be released soon, is entitled "Soaring The Silvery Summits."

Barry and Tavia are singers and musicians having produced a number of projects for major recording labels in Canada and the U.S. Their style of ministry has often been characterized as "old-fashioned up-to-date" reminiscent of the southern orator camp meeting days so popular a few years ago.

The Duttons are extremely loyal to their Wesleyan heritage. They no longer maintain the rigid schedule they did for so long, and only accept limited calls when requested.
