Boothbay Region Adult Ed has some interesting and informative classes scheduled in mid-November. Be safe and security on your computer with Internet Security, Settings, and Clean up, work with and organize digital photos on your computer, learn the Secrets of Improving Your Memory, and more.

In Estate Planning and Elder Law on Thursday, Nov. 12 learn the importance of planning ahead. Topics include: estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, gift and estate taxes, the importance of asset titling, and the role of your personal representative. The time is 5:30-7:30 p.m. and the fee is $10.

Did you know how much is downloaded to your computer when you are on the Internet? Are you concerned about identity theft? In Internet Security and Cleanup, you'll learn how to delete unwanted files, protect your computer from viruses, and other threats. This two evening class is on Nov. 16 and 18, 6-8 p.m. and the fee is $28.

You’ve taken photos with your digital camera ... now what? Working with Digital Photos on Your Computer is is a two evening class on Nov. 17 and 19 where you'll learn to download them from a digital camera onto your computer, save, edit, resize and email them to friends. The time is 6-8 p.m. The cost is $28.

Do you sometimes have trouble remembering names or information? Secrets of Improving Memory is a fun, fast paced class on Nov. 17. Learn about random and sequential access, how to remember names, and the code to remembering numbers. No need to take notes as you will remember everything but do bring a pencil or two. The class is from 6-8 p.m. and the fee is $14.
